If you drive along North Dakota State Highway 200, you’ll now see signs honoring North Dakota law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.  The North Dakota Fallen Peace Officer Memorial Highway was dedicated Wednesday.  One of those honored officers is Norman County native Cody Holte, who was killed in the line of duty on May 27, 2020.  Cody Holte’s father, Bret Holte, talks about the sign honoring his son.

Bret Holte spoke about the highway being dedicated to fallen peace officers.

Law enforcement officers traveled North Dakota Highway 200 for two days forming a procession honoring their fallen comrades.  The officers and sheriff’s deputies saw groups of people waving at them as they drove by on the way to Halstad, where the procession ended.
