New Soybean Plant Providing Jobs and Convenience

Today, local soybean farmers celebrate the completion of the new soybean crushing plant near Casselton, North Dakota.

Bill McBee, the Commercial Manager at the North Dakota Soybean Processing Plant in Casselton speaks about the benefits of having this new local location.

McBee also says the new plant provides flexibility, producing multiple soybean products.

With soybeans in high demand being used in many different products today, local farmers can now take full advantage with the new plant nearby, which could spark change in the livestock industry.

North Dakota Soybean Processors President Tom Malecha says the plant is finalizing construction for a September start-up next month.
