Nicole Smart Haugen To Enter ABW Hall of Fame

ADA, MN—One of the most decorated athletes in Ada-Borup history will be inducted into the Ada-Borup-West Hall of Fame on Saturday.  Nicole Smart Haugen won six letters in track and field and was a four-time all conference player in volleyball.  But it was on the basketball court where Nicole stood out.  She lettered six times, was a five time all conference player, a three time all state player and was chosen Minnesota’s player of the year as a junior and senior. And she played on four Ada-Borup teams that went to State and won State titles in 2008 and 2009. Looking back, Smart Haugen says being on the basketball court with her Dad, Coach Dave Smart, and sister Kelli.

Smart Haugen will be inducted into the Ada-Borup-West Hall of Fame Saturday afternoon at 1 at the Ada-Borup-West Auditorium.
