NMRC Sending 5 teams to FIRST Championship in Houston
The Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference (NMRC) will have representation at the FIRST World Championship in Houston later this week. NMRC Treasurer Natasha Olsonawski says three teams are going for awards and two are going for performances in past competitions.
NMRC Secretary Ryan Lidsay has had teams go to the World Championship in Houston and he and Olsonawski tell us more about the Championship and the kind of opportunities offered to students down there.
The FIRST World Championship starts on Wednesday April 17 and runs through April 20 and schools being represented include Hatton Northwood, Warroad, Cass Lake Bena, Fargo and Grand Forks.
