NoKota Packers Celebrate 45 Years

NoKota Packers in Buxton, ND celebrated 45 years of processing, packing and shipping potatoes nationwide. The local processing plant celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony and tour of the new technology and equipment used to keep efficiency at its highest, while retaining all of their full-time and seasonal employees. President and CEO of NoKota Packers Carissa Olsen tells us how the new technology will improve the company moving forward.

Members of the community of Traill County and beyond came together to support NoKota Packers, with many getting to see the facility and operation in action for the first time. Jim Murphy of Traill County EDC highlights the importance of recognizing the impact of local businesses.

NoKota Packers began shipping potatoes worldwide in 1979 and continues 45 years later at an all-time high efficiency thanks to the new technology and equipment.
