Norman County Commission approves hiring of a new county coordinator

The Norman County Commission approved the hiring of a new county coordinator at their meeting on Tuesday morning. Norman County Commission Chair Jesse Lee tells us who the commission decided to hire, and why. 

Lee says the commission also agreed to move forward with a wage study.

Reorganization also took place at Tuesday’s meeting, and Lee says this included the election of a new Chair and Vice Chair. 

Other items from Tuesday morning’s commission meeting included committee appointments, an increase on the county’s gopher bounty, and a discussion about increasing the county’s permit fees.
