Norman County Commission Meets 

The Norman County Commission met for their first of two July meetings on Tuesday. Norman County Commission Chair Steve Jacobson says one of the main talking points from the meeting was an emergency disaster update, which included damages to public infrastructure.  

Jacobson says the commission also heard an update from Norman County Sheriff Ben Fall, who discussed a number of different items. 

R&J News reported a couple months back that Norman County hired a new county coordinator after Dave Steen retired. Jacobson told us how the new coordinator Jesse Keller is adapting to his new role.

Lastly, Jacobson provided an update on the road and bridge department, as a number of projects are currently underway across the county. 

The Norman County Commission will meet next on Thursday, July 17.
