Norman County Commission Update 

The Norman County Commission approved an increase in the county’s solid waste fee, at their meeting earlier this month. Norman County Commission Chair Steve Jacobson tells us how much the fee is increasing and why. 

Jaconson says Norman County is also seeking ideas on how to spend available opioid settlement dollars. 

Jacobson also says that Norman County will once again be looking to hire a new county coordinator. 

Finally, Jaconson says they will also be increasing some other miscellaneous county fees, including alcohol and tobacco licenses. 

The Norman County Commission will meet next on Tuesday, November 4 starting at 9:00 AM.
