Norman County East 1st Grade named National Semifinalist in book competition 

Every year the first graders in Laurie Stuhaug’s class get the unique opportunity to have their very own book published. Stuhaug tells us more about this unique opportunity, and how the book writing process was done this year. 

This year, Norman County East First Grade was named a National Semifinalist in a competition put on by the company that publishes these books. Stuhaug tells us more about that, and what it means. 

Stuhaug also spoke more on what her students think of this project, and the unique experience it gives them. 

Lastly, Stuhaug encouraged other area schools to give this project a try, as it is something they can do as well.
