Norman County Fair Returns Wednesday 

Coming up on Wednesday the summer will officially begin, as that is the opening day of the 130th Annual Norman County Fair. Norman County Fairboard President Don Merkens says the goal for the fair each year is to get better, and he’s excited for some big changes, and new attractions in their 130th year. 

As for opening night of the Norman County Fair, Merkens and Fairboard member Amy Germolus say they are excited to be bringing in the Mooncats for a live performance, as well as hosting community favorites like the summer kick off parade. 

It wouldn’t be the Norman County Fair without a wide array of rides supplied by The Mighty Thomas Carnival, and Merkens says their passes are affordable for families, and worth every penny.
