Norman County Road 19 Repaving Uses New Method

ADA, MN—If you’re driving north of Ada, you may have noticed a repaving project on Norman County Road 19.  What you may not know is the way the road is being repaved is quite different.  Keith Berndt, engineer for the Norman County Highway Department, explains.

Berndt says there are advantages to this new style of repaving roads.

Other advantages are lower costs and less wear and tear on roads.  Berndt says the current project includes not just County Road 19, but six miles of County Road 23…covering 24 miles in all.  The project should be finished by late September or early October.
