Norman-Mahnomen and Polk Public Health focusing on emergency preparedness

Norman Mahnomen Public Health alongside Polk County Public Health is putting a focus on emergency preparedness, as we move into the winter months. One way they did this is by having residents complete risk assessments. Polk County Emergency Preparedness Coordinator Jason Flores tells us more about these assessments, and what they found. 

Flores, and Tammy Carlsrud of Norman-Mahnomen Public Health says another way Public Health will be focusing on emergency preparedness, is by reviving their county’s Minnesota Responds program. 

Finally Flores shared some things that we need to be prepared for, in the coming months.
