North Dakota State AA Volleyball Tournament Day Two Recap

Minot 3-2 (18-25, 29-27, 25-23, 16-25, 15-6) over West Fargo Horace

Minot advances to the consolation championship match after defeating Horace in 5 sets.

Horace was led by Kendal Mueller with 19 kills and 19 digs, while Alivia Suda had 25 assists. The Hawks will play in the 7th place match Saturday at Bismarck High School at 10 a.m.

Minot had 3 players with double digit kills with Everette Deschamp 19, Kynsli Gillmore, 15, and Hadlea Faul 10. Mackenzie Dufner finished 53 assists and Camdyn Varty added 39 digs. Minot plays for 5th place at 8 a.m. on Saturday.

Bismarck High 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-20) over Jamestown

Jordyn Rood and Rosalyn Brunelle had 13 kills each for Bismarck High in their consolation semifinal round over Jamestown on Friday afternoon.

Bismarck heads to the 5th place contest against Minot at 8 a.m. on Saturday inside the Bismarck Events Center.

Claire Marker paced Jamestown with 10 kills in the loss. The Blue Jays play West Fargo Horace in the 7th place contest at Bismarck High at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

West Fargo Sheyenne 3-1 (20-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-23) over Bismarck Century

West Fargo Sheyenne is heading to their fourth straight North Dakota state title match following a win over Bismarck Century.

Peyton Saxlund paced Sheyenne with 22 kills and Cora Metcalf added 15 kills. Sheyenne heads to the State AA title match on Saturday at 8 p.m.

Alexis Heinle finished with 17 kills for Bismarck Century. The Patriots head to the 3rd place match on Saturday.

Fargo Davies 3-0 (25-22-, 25-21, 25-18) over West Fargo

Fargo Davies is heading to their second championship game in program history following a sweep of EDC rival West Fargo on Friday night.

Fallon Passanante finished with 21 kills as the Eagles will play West Fargo Sheyenne in the AA State championship on Saturday at 8 a.m.

Ellee McIntosh tailed 13 kills for West Fargo and the Packers will play Bismarck Century for 3rd place.
