October is National Co-op Month 

October is National Co-op month, and area cooperatives are celebrating by promoting the benefits of being in a co-op. Tommy Houdek of Mahnomen based Wild Rice Electric tells us more about some of the benefits of being a member in a cooperative. 

Houdek says another benefit of being in a cooperative is the opportunity to give back to your local communities through programs like Wild Rice Electric’s Operation Round up.
