Old Fashioned Christmas Fun During Ada Old Fashioned Christmas Festival
Ada, MN — Celebrate the Holidays the old-fashioned way – with friends and family, creating long-lasting memories! The Ada Chamber of Commerce’s annual Old Fashioned Family Christmas Festival gets underway this week with fun and festive events for the whole family. Lee Ann Hall with the Ada Chamber of Commerce says the festival is intended to kickoff the holiday season and boost holiday spirit.
A Holiday Open House at the Ada Public Library kids off the Old Fashioned Family Christmas Festival today (Tuesday) from 2-5pm followed by the annual Soup and Pie Day this Thursday from 11am to 1:30pm at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
This Friday night, December 2nd, Hall says there will be a couple of opportunities to get out of the house and socialize with the Party on the Prairie the Norman County Historical Society and Women’s Christmas Craft Night at Jevnaker Lutheran Church.
And on Saturday, Santa makes not one, but TWO visits to the City of Ada this year. Hall says you can either catch him while decorating cookies in the morning at the Ada Events Center or hanging out at the Nelson’s Holiday Display in the evening.
Other activities planned for this Saturday include free popcorn all day at the Orpheum Theatre, Craft Show at the Ada-Borup-West School, Vintage Snowmobile Show and Chili Cook-Off at the Main Street Bar, a musical at the school, and much more.
