One Dead After Fire In Rural Ulen
A man is dead after a Friday morning house fire in rural Ulen. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says they were called around 10:15 am to a home at 21148 160th Avenue North. A Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy was first to arrive and entered the house to look for anyone still inside. The Deputy had to get out because of heavy smoke. Firefighters from Ulen found a man’s body inside a bedroom; he was dead at the scene. The victim’s name has not been released. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of this fire.
