One Dead In Fosston Fire

FOSSTON, MN—One person is dead after a house fire in Fosston early Wednesday morning.  The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report of a house fire at 4:30 Wednesday morning near the bus garage in Fosston.  When responders arrived, the house at 718 1st Street East was fully engulfed in flames and it was believed that one person was still inside the house.  The Fosston Fire Department put out the fire and found one dead person inside in the house.  The victim’s name has not been released.  The other occupants of the home were able to get out.  Some were injured; their names and the severity of their injuries have not been released.  The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office has been called to investigate the fire.
