One Injured In Early Morning Accident

FARGO, ND—A motorcyclist from Horace is hospitalized with serious injuries after his bike struck a SUV early Sunday morning in Fargo.  The North Dakota State Patrol says around 4:15am Sunday, a SUV driven by a 61-year-old man from Fargo was going west on Main Avenue approaching the intersection of University Drive.  A motorcycle driven by a 36-year-old man from Horace was going south on University when it ran the red light and hit the rear passenger side of the SUV.  The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and sustained serious life-threatening injuries.  He was taken to Sanford Hospital for treatment.  The SUV driver and a passenger were not injured. The North Dakota State Patrol is investigating the accident.
