One Injured In Mahnomen County Accident

A 14-year-old girl from Mahnomen was injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Mahnomen County.  The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at 12:33pm at the intersection of US Highway 59 and State Highway 113.  A van going north on 59 driven by 39-year-old Justin Engholm of Wadena collided with a car going east on Highway 113 driven by a 16-year-old girl.  A passenger in the teen driver’s car, 14-year-old Saryniti Jackson of Mahnomen was taken to Mahnomen hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  The teen driver and another passenger, a 13-year-old girl were not injured.  Engholm was not injured.
