Operation Green Light
Once again this Veterans Day, the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NACVSO) invite the participants of Polk county to join Operation Green Light and show support for veterans by lighting our buildings green from November 6th through the 12th. By shining a green light, county governments and our residents will let veterans know that they are seen, appreciated and supported.
Veteran Officer Kurt Ellefson shares a little about this project:
America’s counties have a long and proud history of serving our nation’s veterans. This is a legacy that continues to this day as we work to ensure that our Veterans have access to the resources they need to thrive. For questions on Veteran services please call Officer Ellefson at 218-281-3066 and remember to turn on those green lights November 6th through the 12th
