Original Hegne Hustlers 4-H Club member celebrating club’s 90th year anniversary 

The 2025 Norman County Fair will be a special one for the Hegne Hustlers 4H Club, as they will be celebrating 90 years since the club’s founding. Despite it being 90 years since the first meeting took place, there’s still members from the inaugural club that will be celebrating. Ester Austinson is one of these original members, and she tells us the story of first getting involved with the Hegne Hustlers back in 1935. 

During her time in 4H Austinson made a lot of memories, but one that really stood out to her was when she was named Style Queen, and got to go to the Minnesota State Fair. 

4H has seen a lot of changes since its founding, and Austinson shares some of the ways that 4H has changed since she was first exposed to the organization.
