Pacesetters Volleyball Camp for grades 5-9
Today is also the last day of the Pacesetters Volleyball Camp happening over at the Falls High School gym. The day will start with the morning session at 8:30am with grades 5-6, and that session goes till 11:30am. I even got to talk to three girls from that group: Emmie, Maddy, and Lydia. Who I asked what they were most excited about for camp.
And how long have each of them been playing volleyball?
I then asked them about their favorite part about volleyball
They also told me about something new they learned
I suppose it’s easier to explain the bow-and-arrow visually, and finally I asked what their favorite position on the court was
Then session 2, which is grades 7-9, will begin at 1pm and go till 4pm and I also got to talk to a couple girls from that session: Millie and Emma. And I asked them how camp’s been going.
So what has been their favorite part?
They also shared what they hope to take away from the camp
I also asked what they looked forward to with this upcoming volleyball season
Finally I asked what their preference was on the court
Not really then rating I was expecting. But it wasn’t just girls from here in the Falls attending camp as I talked to Rachel Brust from Big Lake who talked about what she was most excited about for camp.
So what was it that brought her all the way out to International Falls?
I then asked what’s been her favorite part of camp
She also shares what she hopes to take away from the Pacesetters Camp
As well as what her favorite position on the court she likes best
And speaking of her mom, Coach Alisha Brust who also coaches the Big Lake volleyball team told us how long she’s been doing these camps
So how long has Pacesetters been going on
In fact, she herself was a volleyball player
So what did she have the girls work on during these three days of camp?
I then asked if she has any more stops this summer
Well I’m sure I speak for a lot of people when I say that we are very grateful for her coming here and offering the girls an opportunity to work on their skills.
