Parents encouraged to set boundaries when leaving kids home alone 

Summer break is here, and for many area students, this may be one of the first times that they’re left home alone, while their parents are at work. Carma Hanson of Safe Kids Grand Forks says there are some things that parents need to consider before leaving their kids home alone. 

Hanson went over more scenarios that parents should go through, so that their children are prepared in case something were to happen. 

Hanson says it’s also important for parents to set boundaries with their children that apply both at your home, and at someone else’s home.
