Parents reminded to make sure kids are prepared for winter cold

It’s been a cold couple weeks across the region, and it’s supposed to continue through this week. Carma Hansen of safe kids Grand Forks reminds parents to make sure their kids are properly dressed for the weather. 

Hansen says parents with teen drives should also make sure their kids are prepared to drive in winter conditions. 

Lastly Hansen reminds parents with young children to make sure their kids are wearing appropriate clothing when they’re strapped into their carseat, as too many layers of clothing can be harmful.
