(Pequot Lakes, MN) — Starting May 2nd, the Paul M. Thiede Fire Tower Park will be temporarily closed while crews from Anderson Brothers Construction work to create a new paved trail from the picnic shelter all the way up to the first itself.

There will also be an additional day between May 16th and May 27th where the park will need to be closed during the actual trail paving process. Anderson Brothers Construction will block off and close the entrance to the park during the construction periods.

The park already contains an ADA accessible vaulted toilet, a large picnic shelter, and many interpretive signs located along 1.1 miles of walking trails consisting of multiple loops. The new paved trail will be a nice addition.
