Pifer’s Auction House Hillsboro Update

HILLSBORO, ND—An auction house and event center in Hillsboro is making progress.  The UDA’s Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant program has approved a one million dollar, interest free loan for the complex.  Pifer’s Auction and Realty announced plans for the auction house and event center in November 2024.  Jim Murphy, the executive director of the Traill County Economic Development Commission, says work on the complex is moving along, even if you can’t see any work going on.

Murphy talked about the size of the event center and uses for the building.

The auction house and event center is being built on the east side of Interstate 29 southwest of the Olsen Softball Complex..
