Planting Season Update 

The Wheat planting season is currently underway across the Red River Valley, and its inching closer to its completion. Blake Youngren of Hefty Seeds says it’s about 70% of the way through, but recent rains have caused delays. 

Despite the recent cool temperatures, Youngren says he is encouraging planters to get their corn planted. 

Youngren says he also expects soybeans to be planted simultaneously with the corn crop.
