Planting Season Update
After a delay in planting due to recent rain, farmers are looking to get back into their fields to finish their planting. Josh Erbes of Centrol tells us how planting is progressing across the Red River Valley after these delays.
The Red River valley has seen some sizable temperature swings over the last week and a half, and Erbes tells whether this has affected the beet crop.
There have also been some high winds over the last week as well, and Erbes explains if this has affected the sugarbeet crop, and whether some producers will have to replant.
Finally Erbes tells us what plants still need to get into the ground, as planting has slowed due to these recent weather trends.
