Polk County Commission approves preliminary budget

The Polk County Commission has been in a lengthy negotiation with their employee unions over the last couple months, and that has caused some holdups when it comes to budgeting for the future. Polk County Commissioner Joann Lee says progress has been made with the county unions, and gives an update on their budget for 2025. 

Lee also spoke more on the issues facing the Polk County Commission and other Minnesota commissions when it comes to putting budgets together. 

If you would like to voice your opinion on the budget, or get more information on it, Lee says you can attend a special hearing this December.
