Polk County Commission discussing cannabis licensing, and 2026 Legislative Session

The 2026 Minnesota Legislative Session is set to resume next Month, and like many counties across the state, the Polk County Commission will be lobbying for changes at the state level. Polk County Commission Chair Joan Lee says one of their focuses for this year is to try and get the state to fund some of their unfunded mandates. 

Lee says the Polk County Commission has also recently had discussions on cannabis licensing in the county.
