Polk County Fair battles the heat in final day 

The 125th Annual; Polk County Fair is officially in the books, as events wrapped up with a bang on Sunday night, with the ever popular fireworks display. Polk County Fair Board President Danny Grundhovde says they battled the heat on Sunday, but the day was still a success. 

While reflecting on the week as a whole, Grndhovde says he is very happy with how the fair went in its 125th year.
