Polk County Fair well represented at Minnesota Fairs Convention

The Minnesota Federation of Fairs held their annual Convention earlier this month, and the Polk County Fair was well represented. Danny Grunhovd  of the Polk County Fair Board said this year’s convention went well, and they were able to do a lot of things that will affect the fair in 2026 and beyond. 

Grunhovd, who’s also on the Minnesota State Fair Board of Managers says they held their annual meeting in conjunction with the convention as well. 

As for the 2026 Polk County Fair, Grunhovd says there still work to be done, but things are starting to take shape. 

The 2026 Polk County Fair is scheduled for July 8-12 at the Fairgrounds in Fertile.
