Polk County Opioid Settlement Update
Polk County is scheduled to receive roughly $1.9 million from Minnesota’s opioid settlement from opioid maker Johnson and Johnson plus three pharmaceutical companies that distributed the drugs. Polk County Commissioner Joan Lee says you can follow how the settlement money will be used through the County’s website.
Polk County’s website is at co.polk.mn.us. In departments at the top of the page, go to public health and click on community health. That’s where you’ll find the link to the Opioid Settlement Advisory Council.
