Polk County Sheriff’s Office welcomes newest (and furriest) member 

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office recently welcomed a new member to their ranks, as their K9 Bo, alongside Deputy Titan Engen completed their training earlier this summer. During the KKCQ Food For Thought Program, R&J’s Tom Lano spoke with Deputy Engen and talked about  the K9 training process. 

Engen also spoke about the process of getting K9 Bo. 

Polk County Sheriff Jim Tadman says that K9’s are a major asset to have in the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, as they can help in many ways. 

When they’re not working, Engen says he and Bo can be found training, or just doing regular dog activities.
