Polk County Special Election Tuesday

There’s going to be a special election in Polk County Tuesday.  Paul Reese and Michelle Cote are running for the District 1 County Commission seat that was left vacant when Gerald (Jerry) Jacobson died on January 15.  The winner of Tuesday’s election will fill the remainder of Jacobson’s term until it expires in January 2025.  Polls will be open from 7am to 8pm Tuesday.  R&J News will have results for you once the votes are counted.
