Producers reminded to stay on top of weed management plan  

Sugarbeet planting season is fast approaching, and area producers are being encouraged to finalize their weed management plans before the crop goes into the ground. Dr Tom Peters of NDSU Extension says it’s important to set a high bar in weed management, as things can quickly become issues. 

Peters also shares a reminder for producers who are afraid to start laying pre-herbicides due to the lack of moisture.
