Progress continuing to be made on potential city pool project in Hillsboro

For the last year, a group in Hillsboro has been hard at work coming up with plans for the building of a new city pool in Hillsboro, and the group recently released a rendering of what their potential vision for the project may look like. Hillsboro City Commissioner Paul Geray tells us more about the background of this project, and where it currently sits. 

The rendering that was recently released to the public had the site of the pool over at Woodland Park, and the project included a number of other amenities including a shelter, and Geray explains the attractiveness of potentially having a project that’s more than just a pool. 

Nothing about this project is finalized, but fundraising will need to be done, and Geray says they are exploring a number of different avenues for fundraising.
