Project Linus Making Blankets Saturday In Gary

GARY, MN—The Norman and Mahnomen County branch of Project Linus is having a “Make A Blanket Day” this Saturday, March 28, at the Good News Church in Gary.  Kay Oakland is the coordinator for Norman and Mahnomen Counties.

Oakland says she and the many volunteers have made hundreds of blankets over the last 18 years… and they’ve all been donated to hospitals and other agencies that serve children.

If you’d like to volunteer to help Kay Oakland make blankets for Project Linus, come by the Good News Church in Gary Saturday between 9am and 3:30pm.  All you need to bring is a favorite pair of scissors.
