Protect your child from cyber crimes
In the age of social media, and the internet, Internet crimes against children are on the minds of many parents, and many are left wondering how they could protect their child on the internet. Polk County Sheriff’s Investigator Justin Swang says there are a lot of threats out there, and he lists some apps that are most commonly used by bad actors.
Swang and Sgt. Nathan Rasch says internet crimes against children are more common than people think, and that it is definitely an issue in our area.
Finally, Swang tells us some of the things that parents can do to help protect their child from becoming a victim of one of these horrible crimes.
