Rally Before Fertile City Council Meeting

FERTILE, MN—The Fertile City Council will hold its regular monthly meeting tonight at 6:30.  Prior to that meeting, there will be a demonstration by local citizens at 5:30 to support Angie Leiting, the former administrator of the city-owned Fair Meadow Nursing Home. In June, Leiting was given the choice to resign or be fired from her job.  A group of Fertile citizens has petitioned the City Council to, among other things, give Leiting her job back and make a public apology. 

Tonight’s Fertile City Council agenda includes a response to the petition, as well as advertising for a new administrator at Fair Meadow and planning for MNDOT’s Highway 32 project.
