REAL ID Rollout goes smoothly 

Enforcement of the REAL ID travel requirement went into effect earlier this year, and many licensing centers, and other entities are dealing with the fallout. Stacy Erickson of the Norman County Recorder, and Licensing Center says the rollout for REAL ID has gone well, and she tells us what you need to know if you’re planning on traveling, and haven’t received your ID yet. 

Some have halted at getting a REAL ID right away, and are waiting for their license renewal. Erickson says if you are doing this, it’s best to start the process early. 

If you’ve signed up for a REAL ID, and haven’t received it yet, Erickson says there is a way to check on its status.
