Red River Watershed Management Board hoping for Bonding Bill in 2025 

The 2025 Minnesota Legislative Session is set to kick off next Tuesday, and many area entities are getting prepared for what’s expected to be a chaotic year in St Paul. Red River Watershed Management Board (RRWMB) Director Rob Sip says this year’s session is already having a different feeling than past years. 

Last year there was no bonding bill, and Sip says for that reason the number one priority for the RRWMB and their lobbyists is to secure funding for the board’s projects and programs. 

Sip says the board will also be lobbying for permitting reform, and he explained why.
