Rep. Fischbach Talks About Legislation Helping Agriculture
WASHINGTON, DC—Minnesota 7th District Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach says she’s been working to support the agriculture industry. Fischbach says President Trump’s “Big, beautiful bill”, which passed the US House, will benefit farmers.
Fischbach adds that she is co-sponsoring a bill called the Federal Agriculture Risk Management Enhancement and Resilience Act, or FARMER act. This bill would raise premium support for the highest levels of crop insurance. Fischbach is also co-sponsoring a bill called the Access to Credit for our Rural Economy Act, or ACRE act. This would lower interest rates and increase lending in rural communities.
