Rep. Gander On Republican Nominees For Governor & US Senate
Last weekend, Minnesota’s Republican party endorsed candidates for US Senate and Governor. State Representative Steve Gander of East Grand Forks talks about Adam Schwarze being endorsed for US Senate.
Schwarze is a first time candidate for elected office. He wants the US Senate seat currently held by Tina Smith, who isn’t running for re-election.
As for the choice of Kendall Qualls for Governor, instead of House Speaker Lisa Demuth, Gander says that surprised him.
Demuth is continuing her campaign for Governor, even without the Republican party’s endorsement.
