Representative Jim Joy discusses White Earth State Forest Land Transfer legislation 

Earlier this week members of the Mahnomen, and Clearwater County Commissions as well as the White Earth nation Chairman Michael Fairbanks testified at the State Senate about legislation that would transfer ownership of the White Earth State Forest from the State of Minnesota to the White Earth Nation. Minnesota Representative Jim Joy breaks down this piece of legislation, and what he’s hearing about it. 

Representative Joy says this is a bill he will continue to keep a close eye on, and he shared some concerns he has with the bill.
