Representative Marquart Previews 2022 MN Legislative Session
St. Paul, MN — The Minnesota Legislature will reconvene at the end of January and when they do there will be lots to debate. Although the 2022 session is considered a bonding session, it will technically be a budget year following the announcement of a more than $7 billion budget surplus. District 4B Representative Paul Marquart previews some of the items they hope to address this year.
This year is also an election year and with redistricting, it could mean legislators campaigning for new or different districts. Despite the rhetoric, Representative Marquart says that will likely have an impact on the session.
