Riverwood Healing Garden Memorial Ceremony set for June 16th

(Aitkin, MN) — The Riverwood Foundation will be taking time to remember those who lost their fight against cancer with their annual Memorial Garden Ceremony on Thursday, June 16th starting at 4:30pm on the ground of Riverwood Healthcare in Aitkin.

In our conversation we had with Riverwood Foundation Director Katie Nelson, she spoke about how the short event takes time to recognize all people who have been crucial through a person’s journey in fighting cancer or other means.

Nelson also mentioned people can still give a gift to the Healing Garden while she ran down the schedule of events.

The Healing Garden Ceremony is open to all, regardless of invitation or not.
