SAFE Kids Grand Forks teaching the importance of child-pet safety

Dogs are considered man’s best friends, but in some rare cases they can also become very dangerous to young children when the correct safety precautions aren’t taken. Carma Hansen of Safe Kids Grand Forks reminds parents to take proper precaution when it comes to their child interacting with pets, as there have been children tragically attacked and even killed by pets who felt threatened. 

Hansen says it’s also important for parents to teach their children how to interact with pets.
