Saturday is Free Parks Day 

Saturday is Free Parks Day and that means the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is waiving vehicle permit fees at all 74 Minnesota state parks and recreation areas. Itasca State Park Naturalist Sandra Lichter says Itasca State Park is celebrating Free Parks Day with their Signs of Spring Hike.

Lake Bemidji State Park Naturalist Christa Drake says there’s plenty of recreational activities to do at Lake Bemidji State Park during Free Parks Day as well.
