Senate Minority Leader Johnson addresses School Resource Officer Legislation 

The Minnesota Legislature will be back in session on Monday, and Senate Minority Leader Mark Johnson says School Resource Officer legislation is expected to be one of the first issues addressed. 

In 2023 legislation was passed that caused law enforcement agencies across the state to pull their officers out of schools after questions surrounding use of force left many agencies uncomfortable. Johnson speaks more on the importance of SROs in schools and says he is confident in new legislation that will put them back in schools.
